Science is the ongoing process of enquiry of an evolved mind. Science has expanded the knowledge and experience of the universe for Mankind, be it:
- Hygienic drinking glass of water to prevent diseases or the glass itself made from sand.
- Or check population growth so as to not burden the natural resources of our planet
- Space exploration to deduce the origin of the universe and hence ourselves
The Ancient science of Astronomy – Macroscopic
———————————————-
Astronomy is the oldest science known to mankind, and still the most mysterious science to us! Scholars have different opinions on ‘When’ Astrology came into play. Scholars say they probably go back to around 5000 B.C. Ancient cultures like the Mayan, Egyptian and Indian have left their marks in the form of accurate astronomical calculation which is found to be accurate even today. The expectation in reading the astral charts was to find some astrological signs of technological success for the advancement of science and mankind, a peaceful message to humanity with hopes for better knowledge and potential advances in technology, medicine or the sciences, of benefit to people.
The Nature of all matter – Microscopic

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world’s largest and highest-energy particle accelerator. It is expected that it will address the most fundamental questions of physics, advancing our understanding of the deepest laws of nature.
Physicists hope that the LHC will help answer many of the most fundamental questions in physics: questions concerning the basic laws governing the interactions and forces among the elementary objects, the deep structure of space and time, especially regarding the intersection of quantum mechanics and general relativity, where current theories and knowledge are unclear or break down altogether.
To get an answer to this question, the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN – a French acronym) is doing an experiment -
smashing protons moving at 99.999999% of the speed of light into each other inside the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) built in a circular tunnel of 27 km circumference (called LHC Ring) buried underground (at 50 to 175 m depth) in the Swiss – French borders on the outskirts of Geneva. A lot of dreams – Supersymmetry, Dark matter, Higgs Boson, Extra dimensions, Black holes, Antimatter etc. are wavering in their “Hurray”.

Tapping the Nuclear Energy
——————————–
Nuclear fusion occurs when atoms are joined together to make larger ones. Fusion reactions occur in stars like the sun, in supernovas, and in particle accelerators.
Nuclear fission occurs when large, unstable atoms break apart into separate atoms. The energy released may be used as for destruction (a nuclear bomb) or for generating electrical power (a nuclear power plant). The difference is that in a bomb, the energy is released in one large blast, while in a nuclear reactor the reaction is controlled so that it is released at a steady pace and thus can be used for providing electricity.

Genetic engineering has open doors to things which were just dreams before it, be it creating clones or artificially created micro-organisms for clearing oil spills or disease resistant high yielding crops.
Einstein
Sir Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who was instrumental in taking science to a new level. His contributions include:
- theory of relativity: enriched physics and astronomy during the 20th century. When first published, relativity superseded a 200-year-old theory of mechanics elucidated by Isaac Newton. It changed perceptions.
- Theoretical Physics, especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect
- reconciled mechanics with electromagnetism General theory of relativity
- a new theory of gravitation which added a cosmological constant
Artificial Intelligence Will Leap Humans by 2020
————————————————
Artificial intelligence will surpass human intelligence after 2020, predicts Vernor Vinge, 62, a pioneer in AI, who in a recent interview warned about the risks and opportunities that an electronic super-intelligence would offer to mankind.
Into the light
————–
Science is not just an outward journey because modern science is proving the observer too affects the observed. Thus with out an inner journey accompanying it science can both be a boon as well as destruction. The nuclear research is the most classic example- it can give unlimited energy to power the planet and at the same time destroy it 20 times over through atomic bombs.
Modern science without spirituality science can be self defeating. The true science is one that permits man to achieve progress while recognizing his spiritual self.
