In India we have the trinity as:
creation, sustainment and destruction (all three sides of a triangle and the creation is in harmony when the 3 sides are balanced)
When not in balance and threatening the existence of mankind itself (or to give a proper cyclic balance) a forth one in the feminine form or nature to backlash and set the three sides to form an equilateral triangle.
Now comes the interesting part(happens once in 5000 years).
These principles are symbolized in a human form and worshiped.

Brahma Vishnu Shiva (all 3 masculine)
shown awake dreaming in a trance
Waking EGO Dream state Delta state of the mind in deep sleep (in humans)
correcting factor or nature
Durga (feminine)
state of altered conscience (LSD, cannabis, muscle relaxants?)
Here is what is the reason for the mail.
The vehicles of these 4 beings are

Swan Garuda or modern eagle Bull Lion
the very symbols depicted by the ancients.
